The Executive team has been active in the wireless and internet data markets since 1989, with extensive experience delivering successful data services, with internet, wireless operator and broadband access providers.
Terence Jarman — Chairman
Terence Jarman is the CEO of Terrdian Inc., a privately held global investment and consulting company focused on the Technology and Telecom sectors. He has extensive North American and global experience in the telecom and Internet industry. Past positions have included CEO at Teleglobe Inc., Vice Chairman at Bell Canada, Group Director at Videotron, UK and CEO at Bell Nexxia.
Chris Scatliff — Founder
Formerly President and CEO of UUNET Canada (now MCI Canada), Chris was also a member of UUNET's International Management Board with executive responsibility for Latin America. Chris served on the Canadian Government Ministerial Advisory Group for the 1998 OECD Conference in Ottawa. Previously he was Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) based in London, England. He has also held management positions at Instor Corporation, Group/West, American Express companies, and IBM.
Alex Brisbourne — President & Chief Operating Officer
Alex has over 20 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industry, in Europe, North America and Asia and most recently, as a General Partner in Aegis Management, an early stage technology incubator. His experience includes serving as General Manager for Microcell, the Canadian GSM mobile operator, where he launched the first 2.5G GPRS network in North America and Senior Vice President of Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, a leading test systems developer, based in North Carolina. Under his leadership, as President, International, Gandalf Technologies became the worldwide #1 supplier of LAN access products to the internet access market. Alex has extensive experience in wireless, enterprise and fixed line services and sits on the Advisory Board of a number of technology companies in the USA and Canada.
Robert Metzler — Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
With over 15 years as a high energy Sales Executive with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional results, Bob joined KORE from Firethorn (a Qualcomm company), where he headed the expansion of their unique mobile payments services. His practical experience in strategic sales and channels management in the networking and telecommunications markets, earned during his time spent at 3COM Corporation and T-Mobile among others, are invaluable assets to the KORE sales and marketing team.
Danny Thomas — Executive Vice President, Operations and Technology Services
Danny is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in the wireless and telecommunications industry working in Asia, North America, and the U.K. His most recent experience as the VP of Operations was at Intellione Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia, however, prior to that, Danny spent 14 years with AT&T Mobility as the Sr. Director of National Wireless Data Operations. During his tenure at AT&T, he worked on several state-of-the-art wireless projects including the launch of the first 2G, 2.5G, and 3G networks and the launch of the Apple I-Phone. Other responsibilities included working as a Wireless Systems Switch Engineer, Operations Manager, Network Engineer, NOC Manager, Service Assurance Engineer, and Implementation Manager. Prior to AT&T, Danny worked with GTE International and Government Systems on secure wireless communications systems in both Asia and North America as a Communications Engineer.
Chuck Horne — Vice President of Product and Service Management
Chuck is a senior marketing and product executive with over 30 years of strategic product management and business consulting experience in the wireless, internet, and telecommunications industry. Chuck is responsible for product planning and management of KORE's wireless services portfolio, overseeing the launch of services such as PRiSMPro, KORE LOCATE and KORE Global Connect. Over the course of his career Chuck has driven corporate marketing as well as strategic initiatives in wireless mobile solutions for the automotive, security and vending segments. Prior to involvement in the M2M wireless industry, Chuck led marketing and product initiatives for Data, Internet and video products for Sprint MCI and Imagine.
Daniel To — Vice President of Finance
Daniel has extensive experience in corporate development and corporate financial planning. Daniel was formerly Co-founder of Phonify Technology, a VoIP technology developer and service provider. Previously, as Director, Corporate Development at Call Net Enterprises (Sprint Canada), Daniel was responsible for the financial management functions of strategic planning, M&A and corporate activities. Previously, he specialized in business valuation services in the financial advisory practice of PriceWaterhouse Canada. Daniel is a C.A., CBV.
