Find me on:

The Asia-Pacific market has recently become one of the largest areas of opportunity for the M2M industry. In the next five years, Asia is said to be the fastest growing region for M2M.

With our global connectivity solutions, KORE is well suited to meet this demand and we have formed several key partnerships to expand our presence in these burgeoning markets.

According to the analyst firm, IDC, “The total number of cellular M2M connections in APEJ will grow from 26.8 million connections in 2012 to 72.4 million in 2017, a 22% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). M2M spending will grow from US$3 billion in 2012 to US$6.7 billion in 2017, a CAGR of 17.3%.” Bill Rojas, telecom research director at IDC Asia/Pacific elaborated and predicted that, “global telcos will also form partnerships with Asia’s top telcos in an effort to offer international customers a seamless M2M experience across multiple markets.” That sounds a lot like KORE Global Connect to us.

In the past couple of months, KORE has formed strong partnerships that will allow us to better meet customer and M2M demand in the Asian market. StarHub, Robustel Tech and ATrack all recognize the importance of ubiquitous and reliable connectivity for M2M applications and devices. Whether they focus on telematics hardware or secure connectivity for Internet of Things, these three companies have decided to partner with KORE to provide their customers with cellular and satellite connectivity on the leading global M2M network.

We at KORE continue to take a world‘s view of the M2M market, and Asia is certainly one of the hot spots. We look forward to growing our presence in Asia and expanding the overall footprint of the M2M market.
