Each year, Gartner’s Magic Quadrant is eagerly anticipated by many companies as a guidepost indicating where industries are headed by identifying the companies leading the way within those respective markets. This year, we are excited to announce that KORE has transitioned forward from “Niche Player” to “Challenger” in Gartner’s 2016 “Managed Machine-to-Machine Services” (M2M) quadrant. In fact, KORE was the sole Challenger in the field, leaving behind a crowded “Niche Player” space. Gartner recognized three critical areas that positioned KORE’s advance:
- Expanded global reach: The Magic Quadrant report, led by Gartner Research Vice President Eric Goodness, recognized KORE for its expanded global footprint, noting, “The company is able to support multinational companies of any size for global M2M initiatives. The acquisition of Wyless Group strengthens its position in North America, Latin America and Europe.”
- Execution of services: As KORE has expanded, we have enhanced our ability to consistently deliver on the many Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity services to our customers, irrespective of scope. This dedication was noted by Gartner, as only three other companies—all household names—ranked ahead of KORE in the Ability to Execute Axis. In fact, we placed ahead of a giant service provider in this category. The report stated that KORE’s “technical support staff has maintained very high marks for technology expertise, responsiveness to customer queries and the company's ability to provision technical resources to remediate service-impacting incidents.”
- Superior array of offerings. KORE’s software services, platforms and connectivity continues to provide end-to-end services that power the IoT for the world’s largest enterprise customers. The report noted that KORE’s “partnerships and operational scale allow the company to surpass many Tier 1 CSPs in terms of operational efficiencies, coverage and cost savings.”
Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant reinforces that KORE is the trusted partner for strategic IoT initiatives such as solution monetization, enterprise applications and broad platform services, exemplified by our recent partnership announcement with Apple.
