The following provides a real example which is far from unique. A prospective customer had been waiting for over three months to have a confirmed in-service date for an SMS-based application with a major operator. He was contracted to provide tracking for a prestigious coast-to-coast International high-value consumer goods manufacturer. He approached KORE on a Thursday. By Friday, he had test SIMs in hand. Our support team worked with him through the weekend to certify his application which required minor modifications. Short Codes were provisioned within 2 days and he released service on Wednesday – 6 days from his first call. Fortunately, most customers don’t have this problem – but we can help solve it when it happens!

Step 1: Designed for Developers
When applications or devices are being developed and tested, access to our platform services, and limited ‘real-world’ testing, is provided through our Test process. Developed with our leading OEM device partners, this has proved to be an excellent way for customers to get started with little cost, time or effort on their part.
We maintain batches of test Short Code accounts, special APN configurations and custom Web Portal services for this stage in our customer’s life.
Designed to test the base application, devices & service, airtime and technical support is included, using a choice of SMS or Packet service options and no long-term contracts are needed.
Finally, we can help you with processes to speed the accreditation of your customized devices to launch in weeks, not months.
Step 2: Market Introduction
Launching your applications with your own airtime service offering is the KORE philosophy. Once you are ready to launch, we will deliver you known-cost, ‘pooled’, airtime service, as well as custom interconnection, VPN services and usage and billing options to suit your needs.
Options often used can include Inter-Carrier message routing – useful for alarm notification to subscribers on other networks – roaming services or site-to-site VPN configurations. We will even come to your location to configure these if needed!
Step 3: Commercial Ramp-Up
When you move into growth, you can benefit from a range of KORE Telematics enhancements contained in our Telecommunications Services agreements. These include guaranteed Service Level Goals, known long-term pricing geared to volume and a range of electronic service reports and features including web tools, API’s to interface into your own systems for provisioning management and usage records in a variety of formats – as regularly as daily.
We can develop special programs for you supporting multi-country service, and create unique messaging or IP route options to suit your needs – all from our own internal service platforms.
