KORE Telematics Names Tony Tarsia Director of National Public Sector Sales

Tarsia Brings More Than 22 Years of Successful Sales and Marketing Experience to Lead KORE’s Public Sector Growth and Respond to the Market’s Growing Demand for M2M Solutions

Herndon, VA and Toronto, ON – August 10, 2007 – KORE Telematics (www.koretelematics.com), North America’s largest independent provider of digital wireless services for the machine-to-machine (M2M), telematics and telemetry markets, today announced the appointment of Tony Tarsia to director of national public sector sales. With more than 22 years experience selling and marketing information technology products and services, Tarsia will be responsible for leading KORE’s public sector sales efforts as the company responds to the growing federal, state and local government demand for wireless M2M applications.

With an increased focus on homeland security, the government sector is adopting newer, innovative technologies, such as M2M, that can help protect its citizens and infrastructure. As the Federal government begins to pass regulations for tracking assets, people and shipments of materials into the country, the demand for wireless M2M solutions is growing at an exponential rate. For instance, the container shipping industry is already implementing M2M-based container identification, cargo monitoring and security alerts in the event of tampering. In addition, asset tracking devices now often include M2M-powered explosive and hazardous waste detectors that are used to alert local authorities of potential threats.

Prior to joining KORE earlier this year, Tarsia was national sales director at eTelemetry, Inc., a developer of network management and security appliances, where he established its direct sales organization and launched a channel program. Prior to eTelemetry, Tarsia was the director of sales and marketing at LRW Digital, Inc., a wireless messaging and security software provider, where he was responsible for the development and execution of all sales, marketing and business development initiatives with an emphasis on the Federal and Department of Defense markets.

Tarsia has held a number of sales and marketing management positions throughout his career in the wireless and information technology industry. He held sales and marketing director positions at KPMG Consulting, EveryPath, Inc. and American Systems Corporation. In addition, Tarsia held sales and engineering positions at Convergys Corporation, Control Data Corporation and ManTech International Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Manhattan College.
