Approved Device Information

KORE Telematics requires all our partners to use only KORE ‘network approved’ devices. With our broad experience in the M2M space, we know that using only rigorously tested and high quality radios and devices will ensure a successful product and service delivery. With M2M applications, radios and devices are, generally, in distant, physically inaccessible or rugged environments. With most solutions expecting to be in service for a five to seven year life cycle – and sometimes longer - using devices that have undergone significant testing and validation will ensure the quick deployment and service longevity that our partners, and their customers, demand. 

Beyond meeting your specific feature needs, it is very helpful to consider a number of other factors when selecting an appropriate device for your solution, including:

• Operating Environment and Conditions
• Certification Needs (FCC, PTCRB, KORE)
• Remote Firmware and Software Upgrade
• Remote Troubleshooting Interfaces
• Device Vendor Support
• Standards Based Interfaces (ie. GPRS AT Command Set)
• External Control Interfaces (ie. RS232, USB, etc.)
