KORE Network Plays Vital Role in Award-Winning Fleet Management and Utilities Solutions

ALPHARETTA, GA.—Jun 26, 2012—KORE, the world's largest wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced that two of the Company's customers have been honored as a part of the Connected World magazine Value Chain Awards. Navman Wireless was named as a technology enabler for Silver-Award winner Indianapolis Fruit in the Fleet Management category. OmniSite was recognized as the technology enabler in the Utilities category for Noblesville Utilities, a Silver-Award winner.

The annual Value Chain Awards honor the most successful corporate adopters of M2M technology and connected devices, as well as the solution providers that make their success possible.

"KORE is honored to be recognized as part of the Connected World magazine Value Chain Awards again this year," said Alex Brisbourne, president and COO, KORE. "KORE remains dedicated to working with our partners to provide end users with cost-effective and reliable solutions designed to meet a number of industry-specific business needs. With global connectivity and comprehensive network management offerings, KORE is helping make a truly connected world a reality."

"The 2012 winners represent successful implementations in home health, education, emergency response, tracking and even the prevention of distracted driving. This is a great illustration as to how M2M technology and connected devices can be relied upon to not only make our lives more convenient and efficient, but much safer and responsible," says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World. "Congratulations to all of the individuals and companies honored."

The Navman Wireless GPS tracking system relies on the KORE M2M network to wirelessly deliver critical produce-related data to shippers within the Indianapolis Fruit network. By leveraging this KORE-powered M2M application, Indianapolis Fruit is able to provide the highest quality, fresh produce to grocers and ensure complete transparency during transport.

Powered by the KORE M2M network and a Novatel Wireless modem, OmniSite remotely manages and monitors waste water levels for Noblesville Utilities, allowing the utility to reduce communications-related expenses and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
