ORE Service Simplifies and Accelerates Process for Bringing New Solutions to Market, Reducing Costs and Enabling Partners to Speed Time-to-Revenue

Las Vegas, NV—April 1, 2009—KORE Telematics, the world's largest digital wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced its streamlined 'One Stop' CDMA Device Accreditation Service. Created specifically to support KORE partners, the new service makes it easier and more cost effective to obtain CDMA network approval for cellular modems and routers, purpose-packaged M2M network devices and embedded wireless modules used in M2M solutions on the KORE network.

The process for CDMA device approvals from Tier 1 service providers is technically complex and labor intensive. The KORE 'One Stop' CDMA Device Accreditation Service streamlines both technical and commercial aspects of the CDMA device approval process for quicker timeto- revenue. The KORE Certification Engineering team handles the entire approval process, including the completion and submission of forms, technical reviews, problem resolution and scheduling with device approval labs. As a result, KORE partners can focus on their core competencies and customers rather than dedicating resources to manage device approval.

Latium, a company specializing in Customized Fleet Management solutions, was the first KORE partner to achieve device approvals through the KORE 'One Stop' CDMA Device Accreditation Service. "With minimal effort and engineering time allocated to the approval, Latium was able to continue focusing on fine-tuning our application while our L2 device was being certified," said Tony Pecorilli, president and founder at Latium. "KORE's Certification Engineers very rarely came to our engineers with problems. They were able to troubleshoot issues and solve many without having to contact our engineering team. And when they did have to come to us, the problem and potential solutions were already identified making it simple for us to just make the change needed. Without KORE's service, we would have fallen behind our launch schedule as our engineering resources would have been distracted continuously with the logistics involved in doing it ourselves."

Through its relationship with Intertek, the first approved Verizon Wireless Open Development Initiative lab, KORE has established a rapid, predictable schedule for device approvals. As a result, KORE partners can roll out new M2M applications with confidence that all approvals will be completed on time to meet their business goals. Through its strong partnerships with all major device OEMs, KORE's Certification Engineering team quickly resolves issues, minimizing the impact on a partners' technical and engineering resources.

"KORE's 'One Stop' CDMA Device Accreditation Service provides customers with increased value and reduced time-to-market by leveraging the coordinated testing expertise of Intertek and KORE," said David Dennis, vice president for Intertek's wireless business. "We continue to work with KORE to build service offerings that help drive value, quality and time-to-market advantages for KORE's customers and end-users."

The KORE CDMA Device Accreditation Service is available to all partners. Any device, regardless of vertical market, from any solution provider, can be approved through the service. Now devices specially developed for AVL, utilities, security, industrial monitoring and many other applications can be approved quickly and efficiently.

"KORE speeds the CDMA approval process by providing a single specialized consultative service during device design and development cycles," said Alex Brisbourne, president and chief operating officer, KORE Telematics. "With the launch of the 'One Stop' CDMA Device Accreditation Service, KORE has eliminated one of the barriers to innovation and time-tomarket: the complex, cumbersome and time-consuming device approval process. With many customers scrambling to redesign devices to replace Kyocera radios, this valuable service is even more critical given the need to continue sales and delivery efforts without impacting the business."
