Panels to Discuss Wireless Advancements in Smart Energy and Automation Benefits of Telemetry

CTIA WIRLESS I.T. & ENTERTAINMENT 2009—October 7, 2009—KORE Telematics, the world's largest digital wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced that two of its executives are participating in panel discussions at CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2009, taking place October 7 – 9 at the San Diego Convention Center. KORE Telematics President and Chief Operating Officer Alex Brisbourne will participate in the "Smart Energy – Telecom Takes Utilities Green" panel discussion, scheduled for October 8 at 2:30 p.m. Part of the Critical Infrastructure Track, the panel will discuss how wireless technologies are enabling utility companies to conserve resources and operate more efficiently. Brisbourne and the panel of industry experts will explain what needs to happen for utility companies to truly "go green" and realize ROI from remote monitoring and smart girds.

In the second session, KORE Telematics Vice President, Sales, North America, Stan Cwalinski will explain how simple data-driven applications with telemetry can network an organization's assets in a seamless operation, and enable more efficient, profitable and environment-sustaining business models. Scheduled for October 8 at 1:00 p.m., the "Smart Telemetry: Automating Services & Supply Chains" panel discussion is part of the M2M Zone and will discuss the business value of increased wireless network performance and how to measure the ROI of an M2M deployment.

Alex Brisbourne is president and chief operating officer of KORE Telematics. He has more than 20 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industry with concentration in wireless, enterprise and fixed line services. He speaks regularly at business and technology conferences, most recently the CTIA WIRELESS 2009 spring conference, and frequently discusses the rise of M2M technology in trade and business publications.

Stan Cwalinski is vice president, sales, North America at KORE Telematics. He has more than 25 years of experience in building and leading services, software and hardware sales organizations in the wireless and wireline telecommunications markets. Previously, he was director of OSS and software sales, North America, for Acterna, Inc., a leading network and test management provider, where he also held multiple sales leadership roles over a 14-year career.
