The annual Value Chain Awards recognize the most successful adopters of M2M technology and the teams of solution providers that make their successes possible.

The 2008 Value Chain Awards were announced at a formal ceremony concluding the fourth annual M2M United conference, an industry event that promotes the development, awareness and business value of machine-to-machine technology.KORE, its partner U.S. Fleet Tracking and Wavecom received honors as enablers for TransCore, who won a 2008 Value Chain Award for its deployment. TransCore, the largest global manufacturer of transportation-based RFID technology, utilized the M2M application to dramatically improve accountability for services rendered to its clients, such as turnpike authorities that use its technology for electronic toll collection.
