KORE-Powered Application from U.S. Fleet Tracking Used by Gameday Operations and Homeland Security to Track Team Movements and Monitor Key Locations

Herndon, VA and Toronto, ON—January 31, 2008—KORE Telematics (www.koretelematics.com), North America's largest independent provider of digital wireless services for the machine-to-machine (M2M), telematics and telemetry markets, today announced that Gameday Operations and Homeland Security will use the KORE network to ensure security for players and other team personnel, dignitaries, media and other VIPs throughout Super Bowl XLII week in Phoenix, Ariz.

With a KORE-powered GPS vehicle tracking application from U.S. Fleet Tracking, security personnel will remotely monitor, in real time via six plasma screens in the Gameday security pavilion, every key location (team hotels, practice fields, etc.), as well as watch the movement of team buses as they take the New England Patriots and New York Giants to and from various facilities throughout the week. Through real-time information updates, security organizers can ensure that the proper authorities and escorts are always in the right place at the right time, as well as respond instantly if any vehicle veers off the expected route, gets delayed or becomes subject to other unexpected events.

"We are proud to help the authorities make sure Super Bowl XLII week goes as smoothly as possible from a player security standpoint," said Jerry Hunter, president of U.S. Fleet Tracking. "This is our second year working with Gameday for the Super Bowl, and we will also be present for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC."

"With an increasingly ubiquitous and cost-effective wireless network that allows machines to talk to machines, tracking and security applications are becoming more and more pervasive," said Alex Brisbourne, president and COO of KORE Telematics. "Often the commotion surrounding events like the Super Bowl makes traditional oversight ineffective, and wireless real-time M2M applications provide authorities with peace of mind knowing exactly where people are, or are going to be, at all times. With the industry's most reliable and scalable all-digital wireless M2M network, KORE is powering innovative M2M applications that are improving lives through better process automation and enhanced security."

In 2007, KORE expanded its service portfolio to include CDMA 2.5G and 3G network services, giving more choice of industry standard IP service offerings for telemetry, telematics and M2M adopters. Today, KORE manages more all-digital end-point connections than any other service provider, driving adoption of machine-based communications across a wide cross-section of organizations in the public sector, retail, supply chain, security and utility industries. Harvesting remote data for process automation, improved efficiency, security and even crime prevention, these organizations are rapidly accelerating adoption of standard, IP centric services.
