Leading Fleet Management Solution to Track Race Car Transportation with the World's Largest Fully Digital Wireless M2M Network

TORONTO AND EDMONTON, AB—August 10, 2010—KORE Telematics, the world's largest digital wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced that Safefreight Technology, a leading developer of fleet management solutions has entered into an agreement with KORE Telematics to power its ongoing growth. Safefreight, the official mobile security supplier for the IZOD IndyCar Series, will use the KORE network to monitor the location and security status of each Indy car transport trailer and logistics support vehicle. KORE provides ubiquitous and reliable wireless coverage seamlessly across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico for this successful series.

Smartfleet™, Safefreight's easy-to-use GPS fleet tracking system, is deployed on the KORE network. The Smartfleet solution enables fleet managers to increase productivity, reduce operating costs, improve operator safety and track both powered and non-powered mobile equipment. The IZOD IndyCar Series is using Smartfleet Pro's web-based fleet intelligence virtual dashboard to monitor equipment operations, multi-bus engine diagnostics (accessing approximately 300+ engine parameters and fault codes) and driver behavior in real time. This analysis is reported back from each transporter over the KORE wireless network. The IZOD Indy Series is the premier level of open-wheel racing in North America, with 17 total races, including Toronto, Edmonton and numerous other locations in the U.S. and other countries.

"Whether it's for a priceless Indy race car or a perishable food delivery truck, the KORE network provides the reliable link our customers need to manage their vehicles and cargo," said Curtis J. Serna, CEO, Safefreight Technology. "Our customers rely on a suite of Smartfleet solutions to make more intelligent decisions about the location and status of their mobile equipment. For us, the KORE PRiSMPro business management portal provides intelligence on, and control of, all Safefreight devices, enabling us to easily manage subscriber accounts and activations customized for our service offerings."

KORE Telematics supports an extensive pool of devices, all offered on the M2M industry's most reliable and ubiquitous IP network. KORE supports 341 GSM devices across 95 vendors, including Cinterion, Sierra Wireless, Enfora and Telit, as well as 197 CDMA devices from 42 vendors, including Sierra Wireless, BlueTree, Calamp and Novatel. This includes nine devices in the telehealth market, 14 devices in the payment processing market and 15 devices in the utilities industry.

In addition to the IZOD Indy Series, the KORE network enables Safefreight to improve the productivity, safety and security for partners such as Dairy Farmers of America, the largest milk cooperative in North America, and high-end retailers throughout North America. Smartfleet can transmit detailed information such as multi-zone temperature monitoring, door openings and aggressive driver acceleration, braking or turning through the KORE network.

"When tracking high-value items in transit, ubiquitous wireless coverage is the only way to ensure security without gaps in reporting," said Alex Brisbourne, president and COO, KORE Telematics. "With the KORE One Rate North American service option, Safefreight is able to provide its users with affordable peace of mind that their vehicles and payloads can be monitored wherever they travel. We are delighted to work with the Safefreight team as they develop ever richer applications for their customers. We continue to be the network of choice for new and innovative M2M applications, from fleet management to telehealth, with our focus on improving operational efficiencies, reducing costs and delivering the highest service availability."
