The ENTELEC Spring Conference brings together communications and control technology professionals from the petroleum, natural gas, pipeline and electric utility companies.

At the TIA 2011 event, KORE President and Chief Operating Officer Alex Brisbourne and his fellow panelists discussed the business case for M2M and analyzed potential business models for delivering M2M services from the perspective of the network operator. The panel, titled "Defining the M2M Business Model for Network Operators and Service Providers," was moderated by Bill Belt, senior director, technology & standards, Consumer Electronics Association. Additional panelists included Charles Bahr, solution marketing director for application enablement, Alcatel-Lucent and Dan Miller, director, industrial solutions, AT&T.
KORE also participated in the Wireless Technology Forum's General Meeting in Atlanta. Vice President of Product and Service Management Chuck Horne spoke on a roundtable discussion regarding the M2M market's rapid growth and its impact on a wide variety of businesses. The panel, titled "M2M Wireless Devices Everywhere," was moderated by Mark Roberts, chief marketing officer, Discrete Wireless. Additional panelists included Steve Hudson, vice president, Omnilink, Stewart Swanson, vice president, Numerex, and Vijay Patel, vice president, Verizon.
