Connect to the KORE M2M Optimized Network and Receive Secure Bi-Directional Linkage to All Your Connected Devices
KORE provides a deep and rich set of integration services to ensure the highest quality of service for mission critical M2M services customers rely upon 24/7/365. KORE optionally offers a fully managed server cloud and data storage hosting environment for our customers who desire to save the capital and operational expenses of leasing data center space, purchasing servers and hiring system administrators to oversee operations and security.
Below are some of the highlights of our integration services:
VPN including dual, redundant VPNs with automatic fail-over
KORE offers several methods of VPN integration. Many choose a VPN because they desire an IPSec encrypted connection, or want the ability to initiate data transactions with their devices directly from the server side, or both. KORE offers several VPN options, including fully managed solutions, KORE supplied routers for customer data center installation, and customer supplied termination equipment. These variations may be designed and implemented in ISP redundant and/or site redundant configurations with automatic fail-over.
Custom APNs
KORE US GSM and KORE International GSM customers can elect to employ a custom APN option in their solutions. With this option you have exclusive use of an APN, meaning that only your data traffic will traverse this connection. This option is often chosen in financial applications for increased privacy, or when a contiguous static IP address space is desired for our GSM services.
SMS
KORE controls network elements needed for SMS delivery, including message platforms for both production and test services, and our own Short Codes. KORE supports several Short Message Service (SMS) solutions, addressing the specific needs of the M2M marketplace. Leveraging the SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer) protocol through supporting an SMPP bind between your application server and our SMSC, KORE enables you to deliver SMS as an effective data bearer for your application. This is a closed network solution providing highly reliable – and rapid – message origination and termination between customers’ devices and their application server(s).
Inter-Carrier SMS
KORE provides an Inter-Carrier SMS solution for applications which require access to multiple operator networks. Using this service with an SMPP bind, KORE assigns your application server a Virtual IC SMS Number. Through your Virtual IC SMS Number, your application can send and receive SMS messages to devices on most wireless networks globally.
Static IP Addresses
KORE offers both dynamic and static private IP address options for devices using our KORE US or KORE International GSM services. Dynamic or static IP addresses, both private and public, are available for devices using CDMA services.
Private Circuit Connections
KORE supports both public (Internet) and private network connection options for customer application servers. Private circuit connections such as MPLS can be arranged, and KORE has customers that prefer this option for added security.
Porting SIMs/ESNs
Customers currently utilizing another M2M wireless service provider can effortlessly migrate to KORE utilizing our streamlined SIM migration process. KORE has developed a fail-proof method for the transition of SIM data routing, APN assignments, secured VPN tunnel setups and client billing records from current network services provider(s) to KORE. From small SIM quantities, to hundreds of thousands, KORE will migrate your entire inventory (stock and active), provide project management and quality customer care to ensure a seamless transition.
PRiSMPro API
KORE provides secure, advanced device management functions via PRiSMPro and the KORE API Library. This API web service allows customers to effectively and productively manage KORE services from within their own business systems and logic. The PRiSMPro API is built to support Express Activation Profile (EAP) architecture, allowing customers to manage all devices regardless of network technology or service requirements. Essentially any function that can be performed from the PRiSMPro Portal can be performed via the APIs directly from customers’ back office applications.
