KORE Network: Fully Managed and Designed Exclusively for M2M Quality of Service
With KORE’s fully equipped VMWare servers and SAN environment, customers get the peace of mind knowing their applications and data are housed in the KORE High Availability Atlanta Data Center with full fail-over capabilities to the redundant KORE High Availability Las Vegas Data Center. Both data centers are maintained by the KORE Network Engineering team who monitor the hosted environment for server and network alarms 24/7/365 with KPI reporting capabilities for KORE customers.
KORE also offers a fully managed, cloud-based environment for those customers desiring to off-load this function. What makes this hosted solution unique for our M2M customers is not only does it save customers the capital and monthly expenses associated with maintaining their own data center(s), but it also houses customers’ applications in the same diverse data centers the network traffic utilizes. By housing the servers in the KORE data centers, customers can take advantage of our state-of-the-art fully redundant MPLS backbone network to ensure traffic gets to its intended application in the shortest and most secure way possible. With this setup, KORE physically manages all data from the KORE switches directly to the customers’ hosted application on the KORE servers, removing the need for VPNs to transmit traffic from the KORE network to our customers’ application servers.
